About the role

Veo is an AI-powered sports camera and analysis ecosystem built for one job: turning what happens on a pitch into proof. Capture, viewing, data and analytics, sharing- all in one system, all pointed at the same thing.

That's bigger than football. Every player, on every pitch, gets access to the kind of proof only the top academies used to keep for themselves. It's the future we're building.

Every youth match still has a moment nobody saw. A run that won the game, underneath everyone's radar. A kid written off before anyone actually checked. We exist to close that gap, one match at a time.

One camera on any pitch feeds an AI that tracks every player and the ball for the whole game, turning what happened into evidence instead of somebody's opinion.

That's the actual job here. Not shipping features. Building the system that gives proof to someone who used to rely on a hunch.

If you've ever watched a match and wondered who else saw what you saw, you already know why this matters.

We're looking for people who want to build that future with us.

The opportunity

We’re looking for an Electronic Engineer to join our Camera Team, working at the heart of Veo’s product development. You’ll be part of the CamDev team, collaborating closely with firmware and mechanical engineers to design, prototype, and test the advanced electronics powering our next-generation cameras.

Together, we’re an innovative product development department, with all the capabilities in-house to push the pace of innovation and bring ideas to market faster than ever.

What you'll do

  • Design electronics for state of the art sports cameras, from idea to final product.
  • Power management and point-of-load power distribution design
  • High-speed circuit design (eg. incl LPDDR5(x), PCI-E, USB3.0, MIPI CSI-2 D-PHY)
  • Prototype PCBAs with external partners, combining practical skills with strong communication.
  • Debug and bring up boards together with firmware engineers.
  • Test PCBAs for EMC, RF, safety, thermal performance, and signal integrity.
  • Design for manufacturability and ensure compliance with EMC standards.
  • Collaborate across hardware, firmware, and mechanical design to balance architecture and real-estate allocation.
  • Transfer design to production and support production ramp-up / NPI.

What you could bring

  • More than 10 years of hands-on electronics product development experience.
  • Education in a relevant field.
  • Proven track record of successful electronics design for multiple systems and products.
  • A solid understanding of analog and digital electronics from low level transistor design all the way to high level system design.
  • Solid schematic and PCB design experience kills using Altium Designer.
  • Experience with high-speed designs and modern interfaces (LPDDR5, PCI-E, USB3.0, MIPI).
  • Familiarity with EMC design principles and standards.
  • Ability to design for manufacturability and scalability.
  • A positive, hands-on mindset and willingness to learn.
  • Experience with power management and switch mode power supply design.
  • Experience with test and measurement automation using python or similar.
  • Experience working with Product Life Cycle Management systems.
  • Strong technical leadership capability within the electronics field.
