  • HARMONi-3: Phase 3 clinical study which is intended to evaluate ivonescimab combined with chemotherapy compared to pembrolizumab combined with chemotherapy in patients with first-line metastatic NSCLC.
  • HARMONi-7: Phase 3 clinical study which is intended to evaluate ivonescimab monotherapy compared to pembrolizumab monotherapy in patients with first-line metastatic NSCLC.

Colorectal Cancer (CRC)

  • HARMONi-GI3: Phase 3 clinical study intended to evaluate ivonescimab in combination with chemotherapy compared with bevacizumab plus chemotherapy.

Overview of Role

The Senior Director, National Field Excellence, is responsible for maximizing the effectiveness and productivity of the commercial field organization. This individual will develop and lead field excellence strategies, capabilities, processes, and performance frameworks that enable customer-facing teams to execute consistently against commercial objectives. The Senior Director, National Field Excellence will serve as the escalation point for every field operational question in the organization. This position reports to the Executive Director, Commercial Operations.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Own and build the Field Excellence operating model nationally: cadence, standards, tools, and escalation protocols across all geographies
  • Serve as the single operational partner to the VP Sales on territory roster status, IC questions, pull-through gaps, business review preparation, and local market intelligence at the national level
  • Provide leadership (direct and/or indirect) to the commercial operations team
  • Own launch readiness across all geographies, confirming that every Field Excellence Manager is operationally ready before the first prescriber interaction
  • Partner with Commercial Excellence on IC plan governance, territory alignment, and CRM standards, translating field patterns into national fixes rather than managing them geography by geography
  • Build the business review infrastructure: the templates, cadence, and analytical framework that every level of the sales hierarchy runs on
  • Run the field intelligence loop, systematically surfacing what is happening in the field and routing it to the right HQ function so local issues get resolved nationally
  • Coordinate HCP credentialing and office access, including RxVantage management in partnership with the field team
  • Lead account-level and regional performance analysis: not just the number, but the local context and story behind it that a national report cannot provide
  • All other duties as assigned

Experience, Education and Specialized Knowledge and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 12+ years of commercial operations experience or combination of commercial field and operations experience
  • Experience in oncology strongly preferred
  • Direct experience supporting a field sales organization in a dedicated operational or business partner capacity
  • Experience in IV oncology or buy-and-bill is strongly preferred. Biomarker-driven product experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team and build an operating model from scratch in a pre-launch or early commercial environment.
  • Track record of partnering at the VP or senior director level inside a sales hierarchy, not just supporting sales from HQ.
  • Strong analytical experience; ability to own the business review framework and fluent enough operationally to manage IC, territory, and roster questions in real time.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to build structure without waiting for it.
  • Veeva CRM experience preferred
  • Travel: Approximately 40% domestic travel
