About the role

Are you looking for a rewarding role which involves helping people, solving problems, and being part of the commercial side of an innovative and fast-growing tech business?

We're looking for friendly and ambitious candidates with 2+ years of client-facing experience to own relationships with our largest and highest-value clients, from over 20 different industries. Using your stellar people skills, emotional intelligence and sharp eye for business, you'll help our clients get the most value from our data platform, and in doing so understand, work with and partner with the public and private sector organisations driving the economy in the UK, Germany and Ireland.

You'll get a thorough onboarding, then real ownership from the start: your own book of accounts, a say in how the CX team works, and junior colleagues who'll look to you for support. You'll join a close-knit team across our London and Nottingham offices. If this sounds interesting, read on!

About Beauhurst

We are building the leading provider of private company data in Europe.

Private companies represent 80% of private sector employment and over 90% of revenues across Europe. They are the backbone of our economy – creating jobs, driving innovation, and generating the tax receipts that enable government services. Yet finding, collecting, and understanding information about private companies remains a significant challenge.

We bridge this gap by providing our customers with comprehensive, up-to-date private company information. Our online platforms and API help our clients to discover, track and understand these companies, providing live data on funding, growth, innovation, and more. This empowers them to take informed action, whether they're offering services or funding to help companies grow, crafting supportive policies, or making better decisions through deeper understanding of the economic landscape.

We work with venture capital firms, big financial, legal, and advisory institutions, leading universities and the Government to help them find and work with companies that drive growth and innovation across the economy.

The Role

As a Senior Client Experience Manager, you'll be the go-to person for a portfolio of our most complex and highest-value clients, responsible for training and supporting their users and making sure every client gets real value from Beauhurst and stays with us year on year. You'll work closely with our Account Managers on growth, and with the wider CX team on how we operate.

From banks, law firms and financial institutions to universities and government bodies, you'll be speaking to people from all different walks of life. You'll get to know what really matters to each of them: their goals, their challenges and what's going on in their industry.

After onboarding, your day-to-day will include:

  • Training: Explaining complex data and workflows in a digestible way. You'll run tailored sessions for our platform users built around the unique reason each client uses our data.
  • Owning your accounts: Thinking strategically about our most complex and highest-value accounts. Who's using the platform, who isn't, and what would add the most value to their organisation?
  • Spotting risk early: Keeping an eye on engagement so you can step in before a client starts to drift, and proactively identifying additional use cases for existing and new teams.
  • Knowing your industries: Staying on top of what's happening in your clients' worlds, from venture capital to financial services to government, so you can bring them ideas, not just answers.
  • Being commercial: Spotting upsell and cross-sell opportunities (e.g. additional features or our consultancy services) and working with Account Managers to turn them into real conversations and, ultimately, revenue.
  • Working with people: Building relationships with everyone from day-to-day users to senior decision-makers.
  • Project ownership: Thinking critically about how we operate as a team, including how we use our tech stack, what training junior colleagues need, and short-term initiatives that keep us focused on what matters most.
  • Contributing to the team: Supporting junior colleagues, contributing to team initiatives and helping shape the CX culture.

About you

We're looking for someone extremely organised who loves talking to people and is genuinely interested in how businesses work. As a minimum, you'll have 2+ years in a client-facing role, ideally in a SaaS, data or professional services business, where you've been responsible for retaining and growing your own accounts. Beyond that, you're:

  • Commercially aware: you're curious about how organisations grow, make decisions and make money, and you can see the bigger picture behind a conversation
  • Emotionally intelligent: you love listening and get along with just about anyone
  • Proactive: you're ambitious and like to take charge of your own workload
  • Naturally curious: you love hearing people's stories, learning new things and keeping up with the business world
  • A team player: you enjoy helping colleagues get better, and you're looking for a fun team you can be yourself with
  • Confident with senior people: you're comfortable presenting to, challenging and building trust with decision-makers, not just day-to-day users

Our offer

We're offering a competitive starting salary plus commission on your retention and growth targets.

We also invest a lot in keeping our people happy and healthy, so as well as your salary, you'll also get:

💰 A stake in the company: A generous options scheme for all employees, so you can share in the value and growth of the company that you help enable

🩺 Healthcare: Our health cash plan will cover all of your day-to-day health and wellness needs, including medication, tests, scans, dental, and physio

💝 Free therapy: Sessions with any of our hand-picked counsellors, all on us

🎓 Professional development: You drive your own development – if there's a book, training course, or event that would help your professional development, bring it to us and we'll foot the bill

🎉 Events: Company-wide parties and away days, drinks every Friday, and regular team socials

🚅 Subsidised travel: Season ticket loans, free railcards, and a cycle to work scheme

🍪 Clubs: Whether you enjoy reading, padel, bouldering or biscuits there will be a subsidised club for you
