The Role
We are looking for an experienced Android Engineer to develop and deliver production-grade native Android applications and features. You will work closely with other engineers, architects, product managers, and designers to build high-quality mobile solutions and contribute to the overall engineering lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications and features.
- Build production-quality solutions using modern Android development practices.
- Integrate REST APIs, platform services, analytics, and third-party services.
- Write unit and UI tests to ensure application quality and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical, performance, and production issues.
- Contribute to CI/CD, release readiness, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features within agreed timelines.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong Android development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Android SDK.
- Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose.
- Good understanding of MVVM/MVI architecture.
- Experience with Coroutines, REST APIs, JSON, and mobile networking.
- Experience with JUnit, Espresso, and automated testing.
- Understanding of mobile analytics and accessibility.
- Strong knowledge of Git and modern software development practices.
- Experience building and supporting production Android applications.
