ABOUT THE ROLE

The Seasonal Wholesale Operations Coordinator supports daily order processing for Shinola’s Wholesale and Corporate Sales channels, focusing on order entry, fulfillment releases, inventory allocation requests, and open order maintenance. Working closely with Sales, Operations, and Planning, you’ll help resolve order issues, maintain accurate records, and identify opportunities to fulfill orders promptly using available inventory. This is a temporary, part-time position based in our Detroit headquarters, starting as soon as possible and continuing through December 20, 2026. The schedule is 20 hours per week across four five-hour days.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enter, review, and release Wholesale and Corporate sales orders for fulfillment.
  • Monitor and manage the order management inbox, responding to inquiries and coordinating follow-up.
  • Review and maintain open sales order lines, identifying backorders, cancellations, and discrepancies requiring updates or resolution.
  • Coordinate inventory allocation requests with the Planning team to maximize fulfillment opportunities.
  • Communicate with Sales representatives regarding customer orders, inventory availability, order status, and shipping updates.
  • Investigate and resolve order processing and fulfillment issues, escalating as needed.
  • Identify available inventory that can fulfill open orders, support sales targets, and minimize missed revenue opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • One to two years of experience in order management, wholesale operations, or customer service preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage daily priorities independently and follow through on outstanding issues.
  • Availability to work in-office at Shinola’s Detroit headquarters for 20 hours per week across four five-hour days through December 20, 2026.
