About the role

Why Harvey

At Harvey, we’re transforming how legal and professional services operate. By combining frontier agentic AI, an enterprise-grade platform, and deep domain expertise, we’re reshaping how critical knowledge work gets done for decades to come.

This is a rare chance to help build a generational company at a true inflection point. We have strong product-market fit and world-class investor support. We’re scaling fast and defining a new category in real time. The work is ambitious, the bar is high, and the opportunity for growth — personal, professional, and financial — is unmatched.

Our team moves fast, takes ownership, and is deeply committed to the mission — operating with intensity, staying close to our customers, and pushing each other for excellence. We live by three values: Decisiveness, Simplicity, and Job's Not Finished. We act quickly on clear judgment over perfect information, we believe simplicity is what scales, and we're never satisfied with where we are. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who share that drive, we'd love to build with you.

At Harvey, the future of professional services is being written today — and we’re just getting started.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Sales Compensation Analyst to join our Accounting team to support the administration of our sales compensation programs. You will help ensure our GTM team is paid timely and accurately by running calculations, validating data, and answering inquiries. You will partner closely with Sales, Finance, RevOps, and People Ops to translate compensation plans into operational reality.

This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role with high visibility, ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of analytics, systems, and operational rigor.

What You'll Do

Compensation Administration & Execution

  • Run quarterly sales compensation calculations and support the payout process
  • Process commissions, SPIFFs, accelerators, draws, and adjustments in line with plan terms
  • Prepare compensation plan letters and payout statements for review and distribution
  • Respond to sales compensation inquiries, disputes, and exception requests
  • Manage compensation exceptions, disputes, and inquiries

Analysis & Reporting

  • Validate and reconcile data across Salesforce, CaptivateIQ, and financial systems
  • Prepare reports on earnings, attainment, and payout trends
  • Gather documentation and support responses to auditor requests

Process Improvements & Scalability

  • Help maintain and improve CaptivateIQ, our sales compensation system.
  • Document business processes and controls, and identify opportunities for automation
  • Be the go-to resource for the GTM team on sales compensation support

What You Have

  • 2-4 years of experience in sales compensation, RevOps, FP&A, or accounting
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Working knowledge of sales compensation mechanics (e.g. quotas, accelerators, SPIFFs)
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with Salesforce and sales compensation tools (CaptivateIQ, Xactly, or similar)
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (lookups, pivot tables, complex formulas)
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience supporting SaaS or high-growth sales organizations
  • Familiarity with local EMEA labor laws and payroll regulations (nice-to-have)
