About the role

A few years into RevOps, most people end up choosing between staying close to admin and reporting, or moving towards building automations and the AI tools that now sit on top of the CRM. The second path is hard to get onto if you haven't done it somewhere first.

In this job you'd do both, in a commercial team that already works with AI day to day through assistants connected to Salesforce, support tickets and product data, while marketing is being rebuilt the same way. You'd build on that, starting next to the person who set most of it up and taking over the technical side from them. You'd also keep the CRM and the data underneath it in good order. That's a lot of upkeep, like permissions, data cleanup and renewal notices to thousands of customers, and there's no ops team to share it with.

Airtame makes wireless screen-sharing devices and the cloud software that manages them, used in schools and workplaces around the world. Most of our volume goes through distributors on several continents, sometimes to customers our own reps sent them. Our sales team also works deals directly, and smaller orders come through our Shopify store. Running all three through one Salesforce makes for a harder data model than most RevOps roles come with.

We're around 55 people, headquartered in Copenhagen, and we'd prefer you to work from the office there. Remote from elsewhere in the EU works too. You'd report to our Director of Customer Experience & Revenue Operations, who sets the roadmap with you and owns the metric definitions, and you'd work with sales, customer experience, marketing and product every week.

What Success Looks Like (Year 1)

Own the Commercial Stack: By the end of the year the technical side has moved over to you, including the AI tools the team uses. You bring the roadmap to your manager and build it, and when sales or support want a system changed, you decide how it's done.

Send the Right Renewal Message: Thousands of customers receive renewal notices. We're starting to ask customers in our cloud software how they intend to renew, and you'd build the email flows that act on it, with a separate path for each way of renewing. If a notice doesn't go out, you know within hours.

Make the Numbers Agree: Pipeline, bookings, ARR, renewals and churn come out the same in every dashboard and every AI assistant, whether the sale came through Shopify, a rep or a distributor. Your manager sets the definitions, and you make sure every system uses them.

Automate the Manual Work: Find the processes worth automating and keep shipping them, tested in a sandbox first with a way back if something goes wrong. The first one is turning the pricing claims our distributors send, in all sorts of formats, into line-item pricing in Salesforce with an audit trail. As AI assistants get better at connecting to things on their own, part of this is also deciding what's still worth building ourselves.

Bring Support onto Intercom: We're moving customer support from Zendesk to Intercom. Depending on when you join, you'd help finish the move or pick it up just after go-live, then own Intercom, including its Salesforce sync and the AI setup that gets customer feedback to the product team.

Who You Are

  • You know Salesforce from the inside. A few years of hands-on admin, including Flow Builder, permissions and the data model. You write SQL and SOQL and can model data for a report yourself.
  • You ask why before you build. You can tell us about a request you pushed back on, or a process you changed or dropped instead of automating it as asked, and what it was for in the first place.
  • You work with AI by default. You use AI tools every day to write flows and queries, and you keep up with what's new on your own. When a new connector makes something we built unnecessary, you're happy to retire it. If you've connected tools through their APIs or written some Python or JavaScript, that's a strong plus.
  • You've run a commercial system on your own. At some point you've been the only or main admin of a Salesforce org or a similar system, and you left documentation behind that someone else could take over from. Here there's no ops team behind you, so a broken sync in the morning and a dashboard request in the afternoon are both yours.

Why Airtame?

  • Building on Top of Admin: You'd keep the CRM running and build automations and AI tooling on top of it, starting next to the person who set most of it up.
  • Most RevOps roles are purely SaaS or purely e-commerce. Here, you get to solve the unique intellectual challenge of bridging a hardware supply chain with a high-velocity digital subscription model.
  • A healthy work-life balance.
  • Five weeks paid vacation and 5 days of extra paid AirtameFlex days.
  • Pension and private health insurance (on FTE Copenhagen contract).
  • Flexible work environment, with a hybrid mindset.
  • Catered lunch in the office.

Airtame is an equal opportunity employer. We have colleagues across the globe, with both in-office and full-time remote workers. This feeds into our international hybrid mindset, with people from 25+ nationalities that make up the Airtame team.

Our work-life cultural balance is key to our success. Our team encompasses our values of trust and open communication to support each other and to collaborate in a fun and collective way.

From the outside, video conferencing looks solved. Anyone who's worked on it knows better. At a big company, that work gets split a hundred ways, and you'd own a slice of it. At a company our size, it's one person's call, and it would be yours.

Most companies that do conferencing hand you one slice of it. The desktop app, or the media pipeline, or, maybe, the join flow. Everything else you pass over a wall to another team. Not in this case. One team owns the whole path across the Airtame platform: Airtame 3, Airtame…
