🐾 Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) Wanted! 🐾

Love animals? Obsessed with great patient care? Enjoy teaching pet parents how to keep their furry family members thriving? If that sounds like you, keep reading. 👀

We're looking for a full time Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) who brings positive energy, strong clinical skills, and a genuine passion for helping pets live their best lives. If you're the kind of person who can go from monitoring anesthesia to celebrating a puppy's first visit to comforting a nervous client—all before lunch—you'll fit right in.

✨ What You'll Be Doing

As a key member of our veterinary team, you'll:

  • Deliver top-tier nursing care to patients throughout every stage of their visit.
  • Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures.
  • Collect samples, perform laboratory testing, place IV catheters, administer medications, and monitor hospitalized patients.
  • Monitor anesthesia and support patients before, during, and after surgery.
  • Educate pet parents on treatment plans, medications, preventative care, nutrition, and overall pet wellness.
  • Build strong relationships with clients through clear communication, empathy, and support.
  • Help keep clinic operations running smoothly by maintaining equipment, stocking supplies, and supporting your teammates.
  • Advocate for patient comfort, safety, and Fear Free handling practices whenever possible.
  • Be a voice for the pets who can't tell us what's wrong.

🌟 Who You Are

You're not just looking for a job—you want to make a difference every day.

You have:

  • Graduation from an accredited Veterinary Technician program (Associate Degree required)
  • Successful completion of the VTNE and current RVT credentials
  • Previous veterinary experience (general practice experience is a plus)
  • Strong technical and clinical skills
  • Excellent communication and client education abilities
  • A positive attitude and team-first mindset
  • The ability to stay organized and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • A genuine love for animals and the people who love them

🎉 Why You'll Love It Here

  • Competitive compensation (depending on experience) including base and 401K match
  • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits that start on day one
  • Flexible work schedules to support your life outside of work
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) because we truly believe in TREAT YOUR SELF mentality
  • License Renewal Fees covered
  • A BIG focus on learning and growing, we stipend continuing education (CE) so we are always delivering state of the art medicine to our patients
  • Mentorship and real career growth opportunities
  • And the little (big) things, like comfy scrubs and lots of adorable patients

Ready to Join the Pack?

If you're an RVT who wants to use your skills, grow your career, and make a real impact on pets and their families every day, we'd love to meet you.

Apply today and help us make tails wag, purrs louder, and lives better. 🐾❤️ Questions? Contact our clinical staff recruiter, at ashley@obrienvetgroup.com
