About us

The Permanent Nurse Pool (PNP) at the Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is one of the largest and most dynamic units within the hospital. The PNP consists of dedicated and multi-skilled AINs, ENs and RNs.

The PNP supports clinical and non-clinical areas across the hospital and associated health services covering emergent leave, workload increases and additional supplementary staffing needs.

Working on the PNP provides a unique opportunity for staff to develop skills that are not bound to one specialty but are transferable across all areas, developing staff both personally and professionally.
