As a Registered Nurse within the Cardiac Investigations Unit at The Prince Charles Hospital, you will provide contemporary, evidence-based nursing care to patients undergoing a range of cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures. Working within a highly specialised environment, you will collaborate with the interprofessional healthcare team to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centred care that supports optimal health outcomes.

You will utilise your clinical expertise to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care across a diverse patient cohort, including emergency, inpatient, outpatient and day procedural patients. The role also involves patient and family education, participation in quality improvement initiatives, and contributing to a supportive learning environment that promotes excellence in cardiac care.

About you

  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote understanding, independence and positive health outcomes.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe, coordinated and culturally responsive care.
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement, evidence-based practice and the maintenance of a safe and effective clinical environment.
