About the role

Minnesota-Based | Supporting Minnesota & Texas

JETSET Pilates is a modern, music-driven Pilates brand on a mission to make transformational fitness accessible, community-centered, and scalable. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Regional Director who can translate strategy into execution, develop high-performing leaders, and drive consistent operational and financial performance across multiple studios and markets.

The Regional Director is a field-based, multi-unit leader responsible for JETSET Pilates studios across Minnesota and Texas. This role is based in Minnesota and requires regular travel to Texas to provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and operational support. The Regional Director leads through General Managers and studio leadership teams, ensuring each location delivers against JETSET brand standards, revenue goals, people expectations, and the client experience.

If you lead with energy, sweat the details, love data as much as people, and know how to create accountability while building strong teams and culture, this role is for you.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop General Managers and studio leadership teams across Minnesota and Texas, setting clear expectations for performance, culture, accountability, and execution.
  • Build a strong leadership bench by identifying talent, developing succession plans, and creating clear development pathways for high-performing team members.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, studio visits, and performance reviews with General Managers to surface challenges early, celebrate wins, and drive ownership of results.
  • Own regional hiring strategy for key studio leadership roles and partner with leadership on recruiting, onboarding, training, and retention.
  • Ensure expectations and priorities are communicated consistently from regional leadership through each studio team.

Operational Excellence

  • Own operational performance across the region, ensuring studios consistently execute JETSET standards, policies, procedures, and client experience expectations.
  • Partner with General Managers to build strong operating rhythms, including staffing, scheduling, payroll management, inventory, studio presentation, equipment readiness, and daily execution.
  • Develop and track regional KPIs across sales, revenue, client experience, staffing, retention, and operational efficiency; translate results into clear action plans.
  • Conduct regular studio visits and operational audits, identifying gaps and ensuring corrective actions are implemented quickly.
  • Support new studio openings, presale periods, leadership transitions, and other high-priority market needs.
  • Create consistency across markets while recognizing and responding to the unique needs of Minnesota and Texas studios.

Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Own regional revenue performance by setting expectations, tracking results, and holding General Managers accountable to studio and market targets.
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow memberships, improve lead conversion, increase retention, drive re-engagement, and maximize revenue across all categories.
  • Coach General Managers and studio teams on sales execution, CRM management, speed-to-lead, objection handling, and client relationship management.
  • Use data to identify performance gaps by studio, leader, revenue category, and time period, then implement focused plans to improve results.
  • Create a sales-positive culture in which every team member understands their role in driving studio growth.

Client Experience & Community

  • Ensure every studio delivers a warm, professional, and consistent JETSET client experience from first interaction through long-term membership.
  • Partner with General Managers on local marketing, community partnerships, events, and grassroots initiatives that increase brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Serve as an escalation point for significant client or operational concerns and ensure issues are resolved promptly and appropriately.
  • Identify regional opportunities to improve the client journey, deepen community engagement, and strengthen retention.

Business & Ownership Partnership

  • Serve as a key operational partner to senior leadership, providing clear updates on regional performance, risks, opportunities, staffing, and market needs.
  • Translate company priorities into clear market-level and studio-level execution plans and ensure leaders follow through against deadlines and expectations.
  • Prepare and present performance reporting with strong awareness of P&L performance, labor and payroll efficiency, revenue, expenses, and profitability.
  • Bring forward ideas, partnerships, processes, and operational improvements that can drive growth, consistency, or efficiency across the portfolio.
  • Partner cross-functionally with sales, marketing, training, finance, HR, and ownership to ensure studios have the support needed to perform.

Travel & Market Support

  • This position is based in Minnesota and directly supports studios in both Minnesota and Texas.
  • Regional travel is an essential part of this role. Travel to supported markets in Minnesota and Texas is required based on business needs, studio performance, new studio openings, training, and leadership support.
  • Travel expectations and schedules will be aligned in partnership between the COO and Regional Director to ensure time in-market is focused where leadership support will have the greatest business impact.
  • Overnight, weekend, and occasional holiday travel may be required. Reasonable business travel expenses are covered in accordance with Vertex Fitness Group's Travel & Expense Policy.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of multi-unit operations, regional leadership, or general management experience, ideally in boutique fitness, hospitality, retail, or a membership-based consumer service environment.
  • Proven track record of leading and developing General Managers and high-performing teams across multiple locations.
  • Strong sales instincts with experience owning revenue targets and coaching leaders to improve sales performance.
  • Highly analytical and comfortable interpreting KPIs, financial performance, labor metrics, and sales data to make fast, informed decisions.
  • Strong business acumen with working knowledge of P&L management, payroll efficiency, expense management, and operational profitability.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple studios, markets, priorities, and deadlines without losing momentum or attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communicator who can create clarity, coach directly, hold leaders accountable, and build strong relationships across teams.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative, solves problems proactively, and is comfortable operating in a fast-growing, evolving environment.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly between Minnesota and Texas.
  • Passion for health, wellness, hospitality, and the JETSET Pilates brand.

Benefits & Perks

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage, with Vertex Fitness Group contributing approximately 70% of eligible medical premiums.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with a 4% company match and immediate vesting.
  • Company-paid life and AD&D insurance, with short- and long-term disability coverage available.
  • Paid parental leave: 4 weeks at 100% pay for eligible employees.
  • Generous PTO that grows with tenure, plus 15 floating holidays and company-closure dates.
  • Additional employee perks may include referral bonuses, payroll advance access, and JETSET Pilates team savings.

Compensation

  • $90,000 annual base salary.
  • Bonus Available
  • Unlimited PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance
