About the role

WelbeHealth is a value-based healthcare organization that’s transforming the future of senior care by providing an all-inclusive care option to our most vulnerable senior population. We step in as the care provider and care planner that work to keep our participants within their communities, out of institutions, and cared for like family, all while receiving the healthcare and social services needed to thrive.

Under the supervision of the Quality Operations Supervisor (QOS), the Quality Operations Coordinator (QOC) is accountable for delivering excellent support and service to our PACE market operations through a process of record review to ensure a complete and accurate participant medical record. Responsibilities will include collecting data, auditing participant electronic health records by utilizing comprehensive tools specific to the area of quality improvement, complete reporting, and confirming all regulatory required elements.

This role is different because the Quality Operations Coordinator at WelbeHealth

  • Directly supports the quality and accuracy of participant care records, helping ensure vulnerable seniors receive coordinated, compliant, and high-quality care
  • Plays a hands-on role in quality operations by auditing medical records, supporting regulatory readiness, identifying documentation gaps, and helping improve data integrity across the organization
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (IDTs) and stakeholders across the enterprise in a mission-driven healthcare environment where attention to detail and problem-solving skills have a direct operational impact

We care about our team members. That’s why we offer

  • Medical insurance coverage (Medical, Dental, Vision)
  • Work/life balance - We mean it! 17 days of personal time off (PTO), 12 holidays observed annually, and 6 sick days
  • 401K savings + match
  • Comprehensive compensation package including base pay and bonus
  • And additional benefits!

On the day-to-day, you will

  • Identify potential deficiencies, facilitate, and monitor appropriate corrections to ensure data integrity in the EHR
  • Monitor participant medical records for complete and timely documentation, promptly reporting to the QOD when policies and procedures are not being followed
  • Participate in team documentation, process improvements, and other QO team initiatives
  • Conduct medical records audits to ensure all required documentation is timely and accurate
  • Assist with WelbeHealth audits by preparing documents for desk review submission (universe lists), as well as assist with EMR navigation and impact analysis
  • Review and reconcile assigned regulatory logs and complete required investigations and notifications

Job requirements include

  • Associate’s degree preferred; three (3) years of experience may be substituted
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • PACE experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, listening, and organization skills
  • Extensive MS office suite experience
  • Strong data gathering skills and health information management expertise
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in an interdisciplinary team environment and coordinating with multiple stakeholders

We are seeking a Quality Operations Coordinator with experience in healthcare operations, medical records auditing, or quality improvement. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, experience with electronic health records, and the ability to support compliance and collaborate across teams. If you’re excited to contribute to quality care for seniors in a mission-driven healthcare organization, we’d love to hear from you!

Compensation consists of base salary plus bonus. WelbeHealth offers a competitive total rewards package that includes a 401(k) match, comprehensive healthcare coverage, and a broad range of additional benefits. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and relevant qualifications.
