About the role

At Warner Music Group, we’re a global collective of music makers and music lovers, tech innovators and inspired entrepreneurs, game-changing creatives and passionate team members. Here, we turn dreams into stardom and audiences into fans. We are guided by three core values that underpin everything we do across all our diverse businesses:

  • Curiosity: We do our best work when we’re immersing ourselves in culture and breaking through barriers. Curiosity is the driving force behind creativity and ingenuity. It fuels innovation, and innovation is the key to our future.
  • Collaboration: Making music and bringing it to the world is all about the power of originality amplified by teamwork. A great idea, like a great song, travels globally. We ignite passions and build connections across our diverse community of artists, songwriters, partners, and fans.
  • Commitment: We pursue excellence for our team and our talent. Everything in music starts with a leap into the unknown, and we’re committed to keeping the faith, acting with integrity, and delivering on our promises.

Technology is one of the most important parts of our business. Whether it’s signing up new artists; ensuring we provide the right data to Spotify, YouTube, and other digital service providers; or helping artists use the latest AI tools and make thoughtful decisions with data-driven insights – technology plays an invaluable role in our success. The engineering team at Warner Music Group makes all of it a reality. Check out first-hand accounts from the WMG engineering, product, design, infrastructure and data teams in our blog!

WMG is home to a wide range of artists, musicians, and songwriters that fuel our success. That is why we are committed to creating a work environment that actively values, appreciates, and respects everyone. We encourage applications from people with a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences.

Consider a career at WMG and get the best of both worlds – an innovative global music company that retains the creative spirit of a nimble independent.

A little bit about our team

Revelator, part of WMG, builds the technology behind how music gets released, tracked and paid for. Labels, distributors and artists use our platform and APIs to manage their catalogs, deliver releases to streaming services, and see where their music is played and what it earns. Our QA team sits in the middle of all of it. We work closely with developers, product managers and customer-facing teams to make sure what we ship is reliable and ready for real music businesses. We're a small, hands-on team, so your work is visible from day one, and the issues you catch protect the catalogs, releases and royalties our clients depend on.

Your Role

As a Quaity Engineer, you'll own the testing for features from start to finish: reviewing requirements, planning test cases, and testing across both the UI and the APIs. You'll go beyond the happy path to find the edge cases, permission gaps and "that shouldn't happen" bugs, and you'll write reports that developers can act on right away. You'll also help shape where our QA practice goes next, contributing to test automation and AI-assisted testing as we build them out. If you have a few years of testing behind you and you're ready for more ownership, in a product that sits close to the music industry, we'd love to hear from you.

Here you’ll get to

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases based on product requirements.
  • Collaborate with developers to clarify features and identify edge cases early.
  • Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
  • Log detailed bug reports and verify fixes.
  • Validate API endpoints using Postman and test backend behavior.
  • Run SQL queries to validate data and support end-to-end testing.
  • Contribute to test plans, test case repositories, and QA documentation.

About you

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in manual QA.
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience working with Postman to test REST APIs.
  • Good knowledge of and ability to write queries to validate data.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with remote teams and developers.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.

We’d love it if you also had

  • Exposure to automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
  • Experience testing in Agile environments.
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar test management platforms.
