About Voodoo

Voodoo is a consumer tech company founded in Paris in 2013, with one mission: entertain the world. Today we are 1,000 people, generating $1b+ in annual revenue, profitably. Our games and apps have passed 7 billion downloads and reach 200 million+ active users every month, making Voodoo the #3 mobile publisher worldwide in downloads, after Google and Meta. We were backed by Goldman Sachs, Tencent and GBL along the way.

You will be an integral part of a newly established internal studio, a dynamic and focused team dedicated to one of our most promising prototype in scale (either Puzzle or Midcore). This studio is specifically chartered to improve this high-potential game up to the successful and market-ready title it is meant to become.

Role

As a Quality Assistance Engineer at Voodoo, you will lead our approach to maintain our game health and free of defects.

  • Follow the technical KPIs of our live games and propose strategies to continuously improve them
  • Coordinate closely with design and development teams, understanding game mechanics and providing essential feedback to improve and refine the product
  • Prioritize and execute testing tasks efficiently at different development stages, aligning with project timelines and objectives while independently addressing and resolving issues found
  • Foster an open feedback culture, actively participating in constructive dialogue with team members to facilitate collaboration and innovation
  • Work with our central tech teams in quality-related initiatives.

Profile

  • 3+ years as a QA Engineer in Mobile Games, demonstrating ownership and successful project completion
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to take up tasks from start to finish with little assistance and identify and address issues independently and effectively

  • Passion for mobile games with insight into the player's perspective and expectations
  • Proven experience using various testing tools and methodologies for mobile games
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas to various stakeholders effectively
  • Good understanding of Free-to-Play (F2P) games and game design principles and release management experience are a plus
