What You’ll Do
- Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries by comparing purchase orders, invoices, and packing lists for accuracy.
- Sign for deliveries, unload shipments from trucks, and ensure items are handled safely.
- Process returns for incorrect, damaged, or unsatisfactory items and communicate issues promptly.
- Organize, label, and store received items in designated warehouse or storage areas.
- Update inventory systems with received goods and maintain accurate records of orders and deliveries.
- Communicate with vendors regarding delivery delays, discrepancies, or product issues.
- Follow warehouse safety regulations and operate equipment as needed.
- Use basic math, data entry, and inventory software skills to support efficient operations.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years' experience in purchasing/receiving or procurement role
- Bachelor's or Associate degree needed
- Proficiency with office software and spreadsheets
- Excellent organizational and records management ability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Sharp attention to detail and data accuracy
