About the role

Wild Spring Dunes spans more than 2,400 secluded acres in the Piney Woods of East Texas — towering pine and hardwood forests, open meadows, rolling hills, and spring-fed ravines. The land laid out its own logic, and the golf courses follow it: the first course, designed by Tom Doak, opened for full play in September 2026, with a second course from Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw planned. A short course, practice center, clubhouse and lodge, cabins, homesites, and F&B outlets round out the vision.

Wild Spring Dunes offers a rare sense of space and quiet - a place where golf, nature, and community come together. Set between Houston and the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, it's an invitation to enjoy the walk in the pines and experience the serenity of the unbounded outdoors.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Property Services Specialist is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, organization, and overall presentation of Wild Spring Dunes’ common areas and guest-facing spaces. This role supports a high standard of hospitality by anticipating needs, responding promptly to service requests, and ensuring facilities are clean, stocked, safe, and ready for Founders, members, guests, and employees throughout the day.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain assigned common areas, including restrooms, public spaces, entry areas, offices, break areas, and other designated facilities.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, cleaning glass, and removing trash and recycling.
  • Inspect, clean, restock, and maintain restroom facilities throughout the shift, including temporary or outdoor restroom facilities when assigned.
  • Maintain appropriate levels of paper products, soap, hygiene products, cleaning supplies, and other guest-use amenities.
  • Complete regular property walks and proactively identify cleanliness, presentation, safety, maintenance, or supply concerns.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to spills, weather-related conditions, high-traffic needs, special requests, and other service needs.
  • Support setup, cleaning, breakdown, and presentation needs for meetings, events, golf operations, and special functions as directed.
  • Maintain exterior guest-facing areas as assigned, including entrances, patios, walkways, furnishings, and waste receptacles.
  • Properly handle, label, log, store, and route lost-and-found items in accordance with Wild Spring Dunes procedures.
  • Use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment safely and according to manufacturer instructions and property standards.
  • Report maintenance concerns, damaged furnishings, pest activity, safety hazards, or unusual conditions to the appropriate leader.
  • Maintain organized supply and storage areas and communicate inventory needs before supplies become depleted.
  • Provide courteous assistance to Founders, members, guests, vendors, and fellow employees while maintaining discretion and professionalism.
  • Assist other departments with property presentation and operational needs when appropriate.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operation and standards of Wild Spring Dunes.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous housekeeping, custodial, hospitality, facilities, or guest-service experience preferred; training may be provided.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing operational needs throughout the day.
  • Professional, service-oriented communication and a willingness to assist others.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and properly use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license may be required based on assigned duties and use of property vehicles or carts.

Physical & Scheduling Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and frequently bend, reach, kneel, push, pull, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally, with assistance when appropriate.
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Service Expectations

Every Property Services Specialist is expected to take ownership of the appearance of the property, notice the details others may overlook, and help create a welcoming, polished environment. Team members should approach each interaction with professionalism, respect, discretion, and a genuine commitment to service.
