About the role

Stand Together is a philanthropic community that helps America’s boldest changemakers tackle the root causes of our country’s biggest problems, from education to the economy, broken communities, and toxic division, among dozens of other pressing issues. We provide our partners with access to resources including funding, thought leadership, a network of peers, and a playbook for applying proven principles to transform lives and society.

Stand Together Foundation partners with nonprofit leaders to build their capacity for durable, mission-driven impact that not only serves their communities well, but challenges prevailing paradigms about the individuals they serve and the challenges those people face. As part of our work, we help leaders refine their messaging and storytelling and, when needed, apply it to specific engagements (keynote remarks, podcast interviews, all-staff retreats) where they’ll share that message. As a Program Manager, you’ll own the operational management and day-to-day execution of programming connected to this leader coaching program. Program management for this initiative includes, but is not limited to, measuring impact, managing vendor partnerships, coordinating stakeholders, running events, facilitating learning sessions (virtual and in person), and collaborating with the internal team to prioritize and source opportunities.

A successful Program Manager will maintain lead smooth programming, proactively identify opportunities for improvement, and drive execution that elevates Stand Together Foundations’ non-profit leader support.

How You Will Contribute

Operations Management and Measurement

  • Lead Program from Launch to Close: Own participant-facing communications throughout the programming lifecycle, from onboarding and expectation-setting to closing summaries and outcome reporting
  • Measure Program Impact: Design and launch participant surveys, track and synthesize data, report on key performance indicators, and analyze outcomes across program cohorts
  • Manage Vendor Partnerships: Vet, onboard, and manage external partners and contractors who support the curriculum and learning experiences, including drafting agreements and contracts in partnership with internal teams
  • Coordinate Across Teams: Partner with internal stakeholders and collaborators to identify and execute opportunities that develop and elevate leaders, both internally and in external communications
  • Plan & Execute Events: Coordinate logistics for in-person and virtual learning events, including agendas, materials, and cross-team collaboration to deliver high-quality learning experiences

Program Facilitation and Learning Content

  • Facilitate Learning Sessions: Host and facilitate regular sessions, including developing supporting materials and follow-up resources for participants
  • Create Program Content: Develop collateral, guides, and resources that support both participants and fellow facilitators

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of program and/or project management with demonstrated success juggling multiple workstreams (data, vendors, events, comms) simultaneously
  • Experience with survey design, data synthesis, and reporting on program outcomes
  • Vendor and contract coordination experience
  • Confident facilitation skills, or strong aptitude and interest in developing them
  • Excellent written communication; you'll be the voice of STF in many participant- and partner-facing moments
  • A collaborative, low-ego approach to working across teams
  • Enthusiasm to contribute to Stand Together's vision and principled approach to solving problems, and a commitment to stewarding our culture, which champions values including transformation and innovation, entrepreneurialism, humility, and respect.

Standout Candidates Will Bring

  • Experience with nonprofit capacity-building, leadership development, or coaching programs
  • Experience with learning design
  • Familiarity with Principle-Based Management (PBM)

What We Offer

  • Competitive benefits: Enjoy a 6% 401(k) match with immediate vesting, flexible time off, comprehensive health and dental plans, plus wellness and mental health support through Peloton and Talkspace.
  • A meaningful career: Join a passionate community of over 1,400 employees dedicated to improving lives and driving innovative solutions to complex social challenges.
  • Commitment to growth: Thrive in a non-hierarchical environment that empowers employees to discover, develop and apply their unique talents.
  • Competitive compensation: Our approach rewards the value you create through competitive salaries and bonus opportunities, allowing you to share in the success you help drive.

Our Values: Working for an organization within the Stand Together philanthropic community is different from many other places. The culture is deeply rooted in Principle Based Management® (PBM®), a framework guided by the principles that drive human progress, such as dignity, openness, and bottom-up empowerment. PBM® empowers employees to be entrepreneurial, to innovate, and to continually drive transformation.

We believe diversity fuels creativity, broadens knowledge, and helps drive success. That is why we’re proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and strive to treat all employees and applicants with honesty, dignity, and respect.

For this role, the anticipated base salary range is $90,000 - $120,000 per year. This role may also be eligible for additional bonus compensation designed to align total compensation with an employee’s overall contribution to the organization.

Our Principles-Based Management™ (PBM) compensation philosophy is grounded in an individualized approach that rewards the long-term value each person creates for the organization. Compensation decisions are informed by a variety of factors, including relevant experience, capabilities, demonstrated skills, role responsibilities, and expected contribution. Consistent with this approach, base salary may vary within or outside of the anticipated range based on these considerations.
