As a Production Technician, you'll support manufacturing and post-processing operations at our new production facility. Reporting to the Post-Processing Manager in the Production department, you'll use hand tools and power tools to drill, cut, sand, and finish 3D-printed parts while supporting material handling and general shop operations.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who is dependable, hardworking, and experienced with hand tools and power tools. Previous manufacturing or 3D printing experience is a plus, but not required. You'll have the opportunity to develop technical skills, contribute to our first project, and grow with the business in an advanced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform post-processing tasks on 3D-printed parts, including drilling, hole cutting, sanding, deburring, trimming, and general finishing.
  • Safely operate hand tools and power tools, including drills, impact drivers, hole saws, and other cutting equipment.
  • Move, stage, and organize raw materials, finished products, and supplies throughout the facility.
  • Follow work instructions, measurements, and standard operating procedures to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop floor through sweeping, scrap cutting, waste disposal, and recycling.
  • Assist with basic assembly, material handling, and general production support as needed.
  • Help restock consumables and organize tools, bins, and storage areas.
  • Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Support team members wherever needed to help keep production running efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience operating hand tools and power tools is required, particularly drills, impact drivers, hole saws, and cutting equipment.
  • Previous construction, carpentry, fabrication, assembly, manufacturing, or 3D printing experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to follow instructions, measurements, and established standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to safely and accurately drill, cut, and finish materials.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks requiring precision and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Interest in 3D printing and willingness to learn new technical skills.
  • Willingness to work weekends as needed.
  • Work involves regular movement between production areas, assembly stations, and shipping/receiving; standing or walking up to 8 hours per day, 6 days a week; and regularly lifting materials or equipment weighing 25-50 pounds.
  • Work in an industrial environment with noise, dust, and varying temperatures, using required PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.

What We Offer

  • $22-$28/hr based on experience.
  • Comprehensive healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.

  • Competitive retirement savings plans.
  • Opportunity to grow your career in advanced manufacturing and additive manufacturing technologies.
