About the role

Location: Norwalk, OH (onsite)

Type: Temp-to-perm · Full time · 3rd shift, Monday to Thursday nights, 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM

A plastics materials manufacturer in Norwalk is hiring production operators for four 10-hour nights a week. Work Monday through Thursday nights and the rest of the week is yours. You start on assignment and can earn a permanent position with full benefits.

What you'll do

  • Pull the right paperwork and ingredients for each batch
  • Set up and start weigh-up and packaging machines
  • Process and package material to customer specifications
  • Keep other operators stocked with materials and supplies so equipment keeps running
  • Fill out production paperwork accurately
  • Follow safety and housekeeping standards all shift

What you bring

  • 1+ year of hands-on manufacturing or production experience
  • Comfortable in a chemical plant with PPE (provided): safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection and a respirator
  • Able to lift 55 lbs often and help move up to 250 lbs occasionally
  • Forklift certification, or willing to get certified once placed
  • Careful with documentation
  • High school diploma or GED

Possible Sunday overtime.
