About the role

About the Role

iCapital is seeking a Vice President Product Manager to join its Independent Advisor Solutions team. This team has launched five 1940 Act registered funds and continues to expand its investment offerings. A core differentiator is iCapital’s partnerships with leading alternative asset managers and top-tier wealth management platforms. This role will collaborate closely with the Portfolio Manager to build and manage an evergreen portfolio that includes direct co-investments, funds, and strategic partnerships. This individual will play a critical role in driving the growth of iCapital’s evergreen registered fund business by overseeing key aspects of fund operations, investor relations, marketing, and distribution strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Own all aspects of fund operations and business growth, excluding investment decisions and external marketing.
  • Oversee marketing initiatives for the fund, including creating and maintaining fundraising presentations, portfolio review materials, quarterly investor call content, and other marketing collateral.
  • Partner closely with the Portfolio Manager on the “business of the fund,” managing distributions, liquidity, and communications with current and prospective investors.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with leading distribution platforms in the wealth management channel.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with the Legal, Accounting, Fund Administration, Operations, Investor Relations, Compliance, and Distribution teams to ensure seamless execution across all aspects of the fund.
  • Oversee recurring reporting for investors and the Board, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clarity.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience in financial services (i.e. investment management, project management, private investing, investment banking, transaction advisory services, capital markets, and management consulting)
  • Bachelor’s degree is required; CFA, CAIA, or MBA is a plus
  • Experience with 1940 Act funds and private markets is a plus
  • Proven ability to build strong, trusted relationships with internal teams and external clients
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all deliverables
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear and persuasive messaging
  • Professional demeanor with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong sense of ownership

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $160,000 to $190,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. Employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes an employer matched retirement plan, generously subsidized healthcare with 100% employer paid dental, vision, telemedicine, and virtual mental health counseling, parental leave, and unlimited paid time off (PTO).
