About the role

At Parallel, we build AI agents that help healthcare organizations automate their administrative processes and unlock additional revenue, starting with medical coding.

Today, up to 25% of healthcare spending is lost to manual, repetitive administrative tasks. Legacy software hasn't helped: it has made work slower, more complex and more frustrating for care teams.

We believe AI agents can change this. Our technology combines large language models with system-level automation to do real work inside existing hospital tools. No integration, no disruption.

Our first agent automates coding and frees up time for medical teams to focus on patients.

We launched in 2024 and already have 800+ customers and a team of 30+ people. We are backed by top-tier investors (Index Ventures, Y Combinator, Hexa, Frst, Kima Ventures, Better Angle and the CEO of Mistral AI), and this is just the beginning.

The future of healthcare isn't just digital, it's automated. Come help us build it!

Context

Parallel is a startup building an AI-native solution for hospitals and health systems. We operate at the intersection of healthcare, AI, and real-world impact. Our mission: reduce hospital burnout and unlock revenue through applied AI.

You'll join a small founding team and work directly with the CEO, CTO, engineering, and customers to shape this product.

Your mission

As our second Product Manager, you will:

  • Own part of the product roadmap from problem discovery to delivery and iteration
  • Work directly with hospital stakeholders (DIM, DSI, DAF, end-users) to deeply understand workflows and pain points
  • Translate real-world hospital needs into clear product specs and priorities
  • Partner closely with engineering to ship fast, make tradeoffs, and iterate in production
  • Define success metrics and ensure features drive real customer and business impact
  • Bring field insights (sales, operations) back into product decisions

Outcomes

  • Features that meaningfully reduce hospital burnout
  • Product used daily by hospitals
  • Roadmap aligned with real user needs
  • Measurable impact on customer operations and revenue

You are

This job is for you if:

  • You have 3+ years of experience in Product Management (B2B SaaS), ideally on AI products
  • You're comfortable operating in ambiguity and making decisions with imperfect information
  • You enjoy talking directly to users and customers and letting that shape the product
  • You can translate technical constraints and AI capabilities into user value
  • You're willing to jump from discovery interviews to specs to production reviews in the same day
  • You're excited about being a founding PM, with ownership, responsibility, and accountability

Hiring process

  • 30 min chat with Paul (CEO)
  • Interview day, 2h in-person at our Paris office:
  • 30 min with Chris (CTO)
  • 1h Case Product with Chris & Paul
  • 30 min with Paul
  • Offer

Why should you join us?

  • Competitive compensation: top market salary and equity packages
  • Team-first culture: monthly team events, offsites 2 times per year
  • Great office: bright and modern workspace in central Paris (Strasbourg Saint-Denis)
  • Full benefits: premium health insurance via Alan, Swile meal vouchers, latest Apple equipment, 50% public transport reimbursement, "Mobilité Douce" reimbursement
  • Access to everything you need: tools, resources, and hardware
  • Rare opportunity: join very early and build something with real impact on healthcare operations
  • Flexibility: on average one day of remote work per week, and one remote week per year

We care about who you are, not just what's on your CV.

If you're drawn to what we're building but don't meet every requirement, we still want to hear from you. Studies show that women in particular tend to apply only when they meet 100% of the criteria. If that's you, please don't let that hold you back. We'd love to receive your application.
