THE ROLE
Pure1 is the unifying manageability and intelligence layer on top of all Everpure products and services - FlashArray, FlashBlade, CBS, Portworx and more. It is the nexus of our promise of a simple customer experience, providing insights and tools to help make our customers’ lives better.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Working on end-to-end lifecycle application development across the full stack (roughly 30% frontend and 70% backend, vary quarter by quarter). You are expected to generate over 90% of your code using AI tools.
- AI tooling leadership: you are expected to be a leader in not only AI tools usage, but to also create new skills and techniques by experimenting with AI and new technologies and architectural patterns. You keep up with real-world AI developments and present those new developments to the team.
- Designing, developing and maintaining customer-facing and internal-facing web applications, leveraging AI design tools and using technologies such as backend micro-services in Java, Python, and in collaboration with our UX team for frontend work in Angular and Typescript
- Leading fellow engineers and stake-holders to identify requirements and take solutions from initial design to production
- Leading/driving a project’s implementation, including coordinating other engineers’ work
- Take charge and drive the team’s design, development, unit testing, code reviews, documentation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment
- Continuously explore and develop use of AI in all above areas to help accelerate the development life cycle and reduce traditional software development and maintenance pain points
WHAT YOU BRING
- 10+ years of professional experience designing, implementing and testing various product components
- 4+ year(s) of experience in a leadership role (such as tech lead) driving multiple projects from requirements to release, including directing other engineers and being the first point of contact for cross functional teams
- Strong experience using AI to generate production quality code, and a drive to experiment with new AI developments to increase productivity, quality, reliability, and security of our services
- 10+ years combined professional experience in Java, Javascript, Python, or equivalent. Nice to have: Typescript, C/C++
- Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative and team-oriented environment, and able to deal with ambiguity in project requirements and other specifications
- Ability to lead, monitor, and support multiple concurrent projects with fast context switching
- Knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, networking infrastructure. Angular, NoSQL are a plus
We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara or Bellevue office in compliance with Everpure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.

The annual base salary range is:
$180,000—$300,000 USD
