About the role

About us

Empowering learners, embracing community, and fostering success.

Our school has a commitment to providing the very highest quality education so that every student may achieve their full potential. We believe this is achieved by providing a caring and supportive environment, which is reinforced through our productive partnerships with students, parents and staff.

We are dedicated to ensuring that every student will exit our school with the learning, training and qualifications to enter a pathway suited to their needs and aspirations. Our school community is strengthened by the relationship we have with the local community which enables us to provide our students with individualised pathways.

Your opportunity

As Principal, you will lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focused on providing quality learning outcomes for all students. You will translate this vision into clear priorities and lead the implementation of strategies that support ongoing school improvement.

You will set high standards for student and staff performance and promote a culture of accountability, reflection and professional development. You will encourage staff to participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development, supporting the continued development of teaching and leadership practice.

You will uphold the principalship as a values-based, ethical and moral activity, demonstrating integrity and sound judgement in your leadership and decision-making. You will model high standards of professional conduct and foster trust, respect and shared responsibility across the school community.

Embedding socially just practices in daily school life will be central to your leadership. You will ensure equity and fairness are reflected in the school's practices, policies and interactions, while supporting an environment that respects the diverse needs and contributions of students, staff and the wider community.

Through purposeful leadership and engagement with the school community, you will lead continuous improvement and ensure the school's vision, priorities and practices remain focused on providing quality educational experiences for all students.
