This role emphasizes continuity of care, collaboration with behavioral health and specialty providers, and creating a supportive, accessible environment for patients and their families/caregivers. Experience with individuals with IDD preferred.

This position is open to board-eligible or board-certified physicians in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. In addition to providing direct patient care, the selected candidate will play a key role in advancing RISN’s mission by participating in care coordination, supporting program development, and maintaining high standards of compassionate, high-quality care.

Physicians in this role will also participate in shared on-call responsibilities to support continuity and access to care for the RISN patient population.

As a faculty member, the physician will have the opportunity to teach and mentor medical students and residents as part of Rowan-Virtua’s academic mission. Clinical responsibilities will take place across one or more RISN outpatient locations in Southern New Jersey.
