Pay $20 per hour
Shift: 2nd shift
Basic Qualifications / Requirements
- Basic shop math
- Ability to use precise measuring equipment
- Ability to operate standard tool room equipment
- Must be able to work without supervision
- Individual must be self-motivated
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to communicate well with others
- Ability to work overtime
- Individual must observe all safety regulations to ensure own and others’ safety
- Troubleshoot die / press related problems in a production environment
- Perform PM activities on stamping dies progressive and blanking.
- Press operations and ability to learn new processes
- Experienced and capable of operating an overhead crane
- Experience and capable of operating Forklift
Preferred Experience
- Maintaining progressive dies
- Operation of overhead crane
- Forklift operator
- Die steel welding is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints
- Operation of manual machine tools (lathe, milling machine, grinders, radial arm drill press)
- Die steel welding
- Troubleshooting -- Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems and repair.
- Problem Solving -- Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects from parts to improve die quality.
- Maintain a clean & safe work area
- High School Diploma
