  • Establish, maintain and improve systems and processes for management of the legal chamber.
  • Supervise and lead the chamber group, in consultation with the Principal Crown Prosecutor, to delivery high quality prosecution services to the community.
  • Develop and maintain effective networks and consult and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders and clients.
  • Ensure a high quality of victim liaison service is provided to complainants and apply a trauma informed mindset to victims of violent and sexual offences.
  • Participate in and assist with the delivery of learning opportunities in the legal chamber, and as a member of the Office.

  • Displays excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal communication skills, with an empathetic approach to managing staff and clients.
  • Can lead or contribute to organisational initiatives and reviews to improve outcomes for the ODPP and the community.
  • Excels in written communication, with the ability to analyse data and produce reports that identify risks/issues and propose effective strategies.
  • Understands trauma-informed practice, the Charter of Victims' Rights, and the needs of victims of crime.
