About the role

We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas or take over sponsorship at this time.

About the role

Enova’s Platform Product Management Team is seeking a Product Manager to own and drive the tools, services, and platforms that help our software engineers build and ship faster, including how we adopt AI across the software development lifecycle.

In this role, you will shape the product strategy for our internal developer platform, including our developer portal, on-demand environments, shared libraries, AI-powered developer tools, and the tooling that supports building, testing, securing, and deploying software. You’ll treat engineers as your customers: you’ll partner closely with the Developer Experience team, engineering teams across the company, and technology leadership to find friction in the development lifecycle, define solutions, and drive successful execution. You will also lead efforts to help engineers adopt AI tools safely and effectively, from AI coding assistants to internal AI agents and integrations. This is a highly collaborative position that requires strong product and project management skills and the ability to turn engineering needs into measurable improvements in developer productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product lifecycle for developer platform capabilities, from discovery through delivery, adoption, and iteration
  • Define and drive the strategy for AI adoption among engineers, including evaluating, piloting, and rolling out AI-powered developer tools and workflows
  • Partner with engineering teams across the company to understand their workflows and pain points, and define product strategy for the developer platform
  • Prioritize initiatives and manage a roadmap aligned to engineering productivity goals, security and reliability needs, and platform evolution
  • Elicit, document, and validate requirements with the DevEx team, ensuring alignment with technical feasibility and scalable, maintainable solutions
  • Drive adoption of platform tools and services through enablement, documentation, communication, and feedback loops with internal users
  • Drive alignment across cross-functional teams, ensuring clarity on priorities, scope, and timelines
  • Collaborate closely with engineers throughout development, making tradeoff decisions as needed
  • Define and track developer experience metrics (e.g., adoption, environment spin-up time, build and deploy times, developer satisfaction), using data to inform decisions and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of product management, technical program management, or business analysis experience, ideally with internal platforms, developer tools, or infrastructure products
  • Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle and modern engineering practices, such as CI/CD, testing automation, containerized or cloud environments, and developer security tooling
  • Experience gathering requirements directly from engineers or other technical users and validating solutions with them
  • Strong ability to translate user needs into clear requirements and prioritize MVP solutions
  • Experience working in Agile environments and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence), with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • Proven ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional stakeholders, including engineering, security, and technology leadership
  • Experience with developer portals or internal developer platforms (e.g., Backstage)
  • Strong ownership and execution skills, including creating product artifacts (e.g., requirements, process flows, test plans, roadmaps) and independently driving projects from concept through delivery
  • Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or integrating AI agents with internal tools and data sources
  • Familiarity with generative AI and AI-assisted development tools (e.g., AI coding assistants, LLM-based agents), including their capabilities, limitations, and risks

Compensation

The budgeted annual salary range for this position is $90,000 - $125,000. Actual annual salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills, experience, and level assessed during the hiring process and may fall outside of the range shown. Additional compensation for this role may include a bonus. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in Company benefits, described in more detail here.
