About Good Pill

Good Pill is transforming pharmacy care for families throughout Georgia. We believe everyone deserves access to affordable medications without the financial burden. By offering transparent pricing and making use of surplus medicine that would otherwise go to waste, we're helping families get the prescriptions they need while working to improve the health of millions.

About the Position

As a Pharmacy Technician II + Customer Support team member, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through both prescription fulfillment and direct patient support.

This position combines hands-on pharmacy operations with customer service, allowing you to prepare prescriptions accurately while helping patients manage their accounts and medication orders. As part of our Patient Navigation team, you'll also assist patients by phone, text, and email, answering questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive experience.

What You'll Do

  • Accurately fill prescriptions, including repackaging donated medications from unit-dose packaging into patient vials.
  • Process incoming medication orders and select the appropriate medications from our donated inventory.
  • Provide helpful, responsive patient support through phone, text, and email, addressing account questions, medication concerns, and technical issues.
  • Guide patients through account setup, prescription ordering, and the use of our online tools.
  • Maintain accurate inventory by removing expired medications, updating inventory systems, and ordering necessary supplies such as vials and envelopes.
  • Assist with additional administrative and operational responsibilities to support daily pharmacy and Patient Navigation activities.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience in a busy retail pharmacy environment.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to assist patients professionally by phone, text, and email.
  • A passion for improving access to affordable medications and providing a positive patient experience.
  • Comfort using pharmacy software, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and Google Workspace (GSuite), along with the ability to learn new technology quickly.
  • A dependable, detail-oriented team member who can commit to a full-time, 40-hour, on-site schedule, Monday through Friday, 9:30am–6:00pm.

What We Offer

  • Health Coverage: We cover 100% of your medical, dental, and vision insurance premiums, beginning the first of the month following your start date.
  • Generous Paid Time Off: Enjoy more than 6 weeks of paid time off, including 2+ weeks of company holidays, 2 weeks of vacation, and 2 weeks of sick leave.
  • Retirement Benefits: Receive a 4% employer 401(k) match, with traditional and Roth contribution options.
  • Professional Development: Access a professional development stipend to build new skills and explore opportunities within the organization.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered:

  • COVID-19 vaccination
  • A Georgia Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
  • Experience with all aspects of prescription fulfillment under pharmacist supervision, including entering prescriptions into pharmacy software, selecting medications, repackaging products, and preparing shipments with appropriate postage
  • Successful completion of a background check

Physical Requirements: Ability to frequently stand, walk, twist, bend, stoop, squat, and perform light/fine grasping. The position also requires sitting, reaching above shoulder level, performing computer-based tasks, writing by hand, and lifting, carrying, pushing, stacking, and pulling objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
