Job Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) to join a specialist educational setting in Camberley, supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Special Educational Needs (SEN). This school is a nurturing and specialist environment designed to support up to 90 pupils aged 7 to 17 years across Key Stages 2, 3 and 4. This role is ideal for a newly qualified therapist or someone with limited experience who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people. You will play a key role in assessing, diagnosing, and delivering tailored interventions to help children develop their communication and language skills, enabling them to thrive in their learning environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Support the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children and young people with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) and complex needs associated with ASC and additional learning difficulties.
  • Deliver individualised therapy plans in collaboration with teaching and clinical teams.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in line with professional standards.
  • Contribute to multi-disciplinary team meetings and reviews.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).
  • HCPC registration and eligibility for membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
