About the role

Our vision is to give everyone the belief they can make their move. We aim to make moving simpler, by giving everyone the best place to turn to and return to for access to the tools, expertise, trust, and belief to make it happen.

We’re home to the UK’s largest choice of properties and are the go-to destination for millions of people planning their next move, reading the latest industry news, or just browsing what’s on the market.

We’re looking for a proactive and people-oriented People Operations Coordinator to join our team for a 12 month maternity leave contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the start of their HR career to play a key role in supporting the People team and delivering a smooth, inclusive, and engaging employee experience across the entire employee lifecycle. You’ll help ensure our people processes are efficient, consistent, and aligned with our culture and values.

We work on a hybrid model, with this role based from our Milton Keynes office, 2 days a week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

What you’ll be doing

  • You will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the People team.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, resolving issues where possible or directing them to the appropriate team member, such as a People Business Partner, to ensure timely and accurate support.
  • Supporting the day-to-day administration of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contract changes, and leavers.
  • Manage employee benefits and liaise with providers to ensure a smooth experience for employees.
  • Be a trusted point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on policies, processes, and systems.
  • Contribute to the delivery of people projects and process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate data across all systems, preparing and updating reports and documentation as needed.

Who you are

  • Experience in a HR administrative role or exposure to HR through training is desirable, demonstrating a solid foundation in people processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint and able to undertake basic analysis and support in the creation of documents and presentations.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Proactive & adaptable, thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
