About the role

At Aceve, we back the builders of society. Founded in the Nordics and growing across Europe, we build digital tools for the people who construct and maintain our physical world - giving electricians, plumbers, and contractors back their time, clarity, and confidence. With over 900 employees across 8 countries, leading brands in 7 customer markets, and more than €100M in revenue, we're on an ambitious growth journey, and we're just getting started. We're an AI-first company, and we work with grit, openness, and a good dose of joy.

About the job

As a People Business Partner, you'll be a trusted advisor to leaders across the organisation, helping translate business ambitions into people priorities. You'll combine strategic business partnering with hands-on execution -coaching leaders, strengthening teams, embedding our culture and making sure the fundamentals of the employee lifecycle run brilliantly.

You'll also help shape how AI becomes part of everyday work. From improving the employee experience to helping leaders build AI capabilities in their teams, you'll play an important role in making Aceve an AI-first organisation.

This role is based in Rotterdam or Zierikzee, the Netherlands, with occasional travel across Europe.

Your role is all about our brilliant people, and your focus will be to;

  • Partner with leaders to strengthen performance, organisational capability and team effectiveness.
  • Coach leaders on performance, change, employee relations and leadership development.
  • Drive the implementation of Aceve's culture and values across the organisation.
  • Help build our AI-first way of working by driving adoption, capability and smarter ways of working.
  • Own and continuously improve the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to development, performance and offboarding.
  • Use people data and insights to support better business decisions.
  • Deliver practical, business-focused people support while ensuring compliance with Dutch labour legislation.
  • Collaborate with the People & Culture team to build scalable people practices across Europe.

Who are you?

You're curious about business and passionate about people. You enjoy thinking strategically but get just as much satisfaction from rolling up your sleeves and making things happen.

You build trust through credibility, humility and collaboration. You coach leaders with confidence, challenge when needed and know that great People Partners spend time in the business -not just behind a screen.

You already use AI to work smarter and are excited about helping others do the same. You believe technology should make work better, not more complicated.

You'll probably bring

  • Experience as a People Business Partner in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Strong leadership coaching and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience across the employee lifecycle and organisational development.
  • A data-informed approach to decision-making.
  • AI literacy and a genuine curiosity about how AI can improve the way we work.
  • Knowledge of Dutch labour law.
  • Fluency in English. Dutch is a plus.

Why Aceve?

  • Shape the future of a growing European SaaS company.
  • Help build an AI-first organisation where people and technology grow together.
  • Work with talented colleagues across Europe in a collaborative, down-to-earth culture.
  • Enjoy real ownership, influence and the opportunity to make a visible impact from day one.

Not ticking every box? No worries! We value potential and drive, so apply anyway or connect with us- you might be just what we're looking for in our growing organisation! Join Aceve and take your expertise to the next level, together we are redefining what’s possible in craft and construction solutions!
