About the role

ABOUT US

Pliant is a modular B2B payments platform combining commercial card issuing, payment accounts, FX and spend management for businesses and AI agents.

Businesses across travel, e-commerce, insurance and AI-native technology use Pliant to manage complex payment workflows, while fintechs, software platforms and banks use its infrastructure to build and operate their own commercial payment offerings.

Pliant's API-first platform also enables AI agents and applications to access regulated payment infrastructure with permissions, controls and auditability built in.

Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Berlin, Pliant serves businesses and partners across Europe and North America. A principal member of Visa and Mastercard, Pliant issues commercial cards in 13 currencies across 32 countries under its European e-money license and through regulated partners in the UK and US.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently looking for a Partner Success Manager (m/f/d) to join our team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Own the success of a portfolio of strategic partners serving as their primary point of contact, building deep relationships, and making their growth your mission
  • Drive partner performance through structured QBRs, regular strategic check-ins, and data-driven KPI frameworks that turn collaboration into measurable results
  • Develop a thorough understanding of each partner's business model, goals, challenges and expectations, and translate that knowledge into tailored strategies that accelerate their success
  • Identify and pursue upsell and expansion opportunities within your partner portfolio, initiating new projects, and handing them off to or coordinating with the relevant stakeholders
  • Make high-impact decisions in partnership with your counterparts, bringing the right internal experts (Product, Legal, Compliance, Tech) to the table at the right moment
  • Build institutional knowledge across your partner accounts so you can navigate complex conversations independently and scale what works across the portfolio
  • Champion your partners internally, acting as their voice within Pliant to influence roadmap priorities, process improvements, and go-to-market decisions

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • 3+ years of experience in Partner Success, Account Management, or Strategic Partnerships — ideally within fintech or a similarly complex B2B ecosystem
  • A proven track record of managing senior stakeholder relationships, including C-level, across diverse partner business models
  • Deep familiarity with partnership and embedded finance ecosystems — you understand how banks, fintechs, and SaaS players think and what drives their decisions
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills — you can build trust quickly, navigate difficult conversations, and inspire confidence at every level
  • A strategic mindset paired with operational discipline — you know how to run a structured account review and turn insights into action
  • Fluency in English and German; an additional European language is a strong plus
  • Based in Berlin or Munich, comfortable with a hybrid working model

WHAT WE OFFER

  • The opportunity to work in a growing team with big responsibilities that thrives on a strong exchange of knowledge and excellence
  • Attractive remuneration
  • Your choice of preferred OS, Windows or Mac
  • Flat hierarchy and transparent communication in a relaxed, professional atmosphere
  • Opportunity to develop your talent in a dynamic team with ambitious goals
  • Flexibility and possibility to work remotely
  • Monthly mobility benefit
  • Wellhub Membership
  • Pliant Card with monthly credit to explore the product and enjoy food with colleagues
