About the role

About Us

Eliza is a technology services company and OpenAI partner dedicated to helping organizations build and deploy AI solutions. We combine technical expertise with hands-on client collaboration to solve problems that matter.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Partner Operations Manager to build and run the operating system behind Eliza’s OpenAI partnership. You’ll work across strategic partnerships, marketing, and go-to-market execution, helping our sellers make the most of key OpenAI relationships and helping promising opportunities move from referral to closed business.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can turn a strategic partnership into clear plans, useful assets, reliable follow-through, and measurable commercial impact. You’ll work closely with strategic sellers, marketing, delivery, and OpenAI stakeholders. You’ll help the team understand which relationships matter, what each opportunity needs next, and where the partnership is creating value.

What You’ll Own

  • Build the partnership operating model. Create and maintain the plans, stakeholder maps, operating cadence, systems, and playbooks that help Eliza manage the OpenAI relationship consistently.
  • Equip strategic sellers. Give sellers the context and tools to navigate OpenAI relationships, including account and relationship maps, meeting briefs, follow-up plans, partner updates, and reusable sales materials.
  • Move warm opportunities forward. Establish a clear process for receiving, qualifying, assigning, and tracking OpenAI referrals. Stay close to each opportunity with its owner, coordinate follow-up, surface blockers, and help move the work through the sales cycle to close.
  • Coordinate partner marketing. Work with Eliza’s marketing team and OpenAI contacts on campaigns, events, workshops, announcements, customer stories, and other materials that build awareness and create qualified opportunities.
  • Lead regular partnership reporting internally and with OpenAI. Maintain clear, accurate metrics on OpenAI relationships (mapping, targeting, and health); bi-directional lead flow (volume, size, and velocity); close rates; incentive usage and impact; team skills and certifications; invoicing and incentives against our SGA; customer evidence and WinWires; and other measures needed to understand and improve the state of the partnership. Turn reporting into clear updates, decisions, and follow-through.
  • Improve what’s already in place. Maintain and improve existing HubSpot and OpenAI partner portal workflows, reporting, and partner activity tracking. Turn lessons from live opportunities into better processes and assets.
  • Keep teams aligned. Make sure sellers, marketing, delivery, and leadership know the priorities, owners, next steps, and results across the partnership.
  • Monitor OpenAI’s programs. Be Eliza’s central point of contact for staying current on OpenAI programs across marketing, go-to-market, and other areas. Translate changes into regular, practical updates for the right Eliza teams, including how to engage, Eliza’s current standing, and what actions or opportunities to pursue.
  • Build customer evidence. Own post-engagement WinWire creation and publication in partnership with Eliza’s Marketing Lead, coordinating with delivery teams to capture outcomes and gather the needed inputs.

How We’ll Know Performing Well

  • Eliza and OpenAI receive regular, useful reporting on relationship mapping, targeting, and health; two-way lead flow, including volume, size, and velocity; close rates; incentive usage and impact; skills and certifications; invoicing and incentives against our SGA; and customer evidence.
  • OpenAI referrals are followed up consistently and move through the sales process with clear ownership.
  • Strategic sellers use the relationship context, playbooks, and materials you build.
  • Partner marketing activity supports priority relationships and creates useful engagement with potential clients.
  • Eliza can show how the partnership contributes to pipeline, closed business, and broader market visibility.
  • The operating model gets easier to run and more useful as the partnership grows.
  • Relevant Eliza teams receive timely updates on OpenAI program changes, Eliza’s standing, and clear guidance on how to engage.
  • WinWires capture customer outcomes and are created and published after engagements in partnership with the Marketing Lead.

What You’ll Bring

Hard Skills

  • Experience in partner operations, strategic partnerships, go-to-market operations, partner marketing, or business development.
  • Experience building repeatable processes, playbooks, and materials for a sales or partnership team.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, including defining partnership metrics, maintaining accurate CRM data, and turning operating data into useful internal and partner-facing updates. HubSpot experience is a plus.
  • Experience coordinating campaigns, events, workshops, or other partner-facing programs.
  • Strong project management and follow-through across several stakeholders and active opportunities.
  • Clear writing and presentation skills, including the ability to make complex ideas useful to sellers and executives.
  • Experience in professional services, consulting, or technology partnerships is a plus.

Core Strengths

  • Commercial judgment. You understand how relationships, referrals, and partner activity can turn into real business.
  • Systems thinking. You can make an ambiguous partnership easier to run by creating useful structure without adding unnecessary process.
  • Relationship building. You earn trust with internal teams and external partners and can keep people moving toward shared outcomes.
  • Ownership and action. You spot what needs to happen, bring the right people together, and follow through.
  • Clear communication. You adapt your message for sellers, marketers, delivery teams, executives, and partner stakeholders.
  • Adaptability. You’re comfortable building while the strategy and partnership continue to evolve.

Why Leave Your Current Role for This One

You’ll help shape an important partnership at a moment when Eliza is building its go-to-market approach around AI. You’ll have room to create the systems, assets, and working relationships that help a strategic partnership produce real opportunities and lasting business.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation (base salary + performance incentives tied to client outcomes).
  • Equity options in a growing AI services company.
  • Exposure to a wide range of industries and high-impact AI problems.
  • Travel opportunities for on-site client engagements (if desired).
  • A collaborative, mission-driven team passionate about the real-world impact of AI.
  • Meaningful ownership of a growing strategic partnership.
  • The chance to shape how Eliza builds and runs partner programs.
  • Close collaboration with commercial, marketing, and delivery leaders.
  • Work at the intersection of professional services and applied AI.
  • The opportunity to build practical systems and see their impact on real customer opportunities.
