As a Driver at River Rock Academy, you will provide safe and reliable transportation for students while maintaining a respectful, supportive environment during transit. You’ll play a key role in ensuring students arrive safely and on time while upholding safety, professionalism, and compliance standards.
What You’ll Need
- Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license
- High School Diploma or GED
- Clean driving record
- Experience working with special education adolescents preferred
- Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and commitment to safety
- Ability to remain calm and professional while supporting student behavior during transport
What You’ll Do
- Transport students safely and promptly to and from the program
- Maintain vehicle condition and report maintenance concerns as needed
- Refuel vehicles using the assigned gas card and accurately complete required vehicle log documentation
- Ensure students behave appropriately during transit and follow transportation safety procedures
- Follow all traffic laws and school safety protocols at all times
