About the role

Part-Time Traveling Clinical Assistant (Spanish and English Speaking) – Inland Empire, CA

Location: Inland Empire, California (San Bernardino, Redlands, Riverside, La Quinta, Murrieta, and Victorville)

Schedule: 2 days per week (Weekdays only)

Compensation: $28 per hour plus mileage reimbursement + travel pay from storage unit to centers

Position Type: Part-time, W-2

About The Opportunity

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a part-time Traveling Clinical Assistant to support multi-specialty clinical services across several outpatient senior-care centers throughout the Inland Empire.

This individual will be cross-trained across all four specialties — dental, optometry, podiatry, and audiology. Responsibilities will include assisting providers across each specialty, including preparing treatment areas, supporting patient visits, and helping ensure smooth clinic operations.

This is a varied clinical support role and the ideal candidate would be adaptable, comfortable learning new skills, and interested in supporting multiple areas of healthcare. Full cross-training will be provided.

If you're looking for meaningful, mission-driven work with a consistent weekday schedule and strong team support, this opportunity could be a great match.

The Setting

This opportunity operates within a community-based outpatient clinic model serving seniors living independently throughout the Inland Empire.

  • Clinic staff are on-site full time
  • Organized scheduling and patient flow
  • Coordinated, team-based care environment
  • Value-based model focused on seniors
  • CMC manages equipment, supplies, scheduling, billing, and logistics

Your focus stays on supporting high-quality patient care—not administrative burden.

What You'll Do

  • Provide clinical support to providers across dental, optometry, podiatry, and audiology
  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
  • Maintain infection control and sterilization standards
  • Assist with patient intake, documentation, and basic administrative tasks
  • Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team
  • Travel between multiple clinic locations throughout the Inland Empire is required, with mileage reimbursement and travel pay provided.

What Makes This Different

This is not a traditional, high-volume clinical assistant position. Our Clinical Assistants work within established clinic settings, supporting multiple healthcare specialties and helping deliver coordinated care to seniors.

We emphasize:

  • Variety across four clinical specialties
  • Quality over volume
  • Consistent weekday scheduling
  • Strong administrative and logistical support
  • Long-term clinic partnerships
  • Ethical, mission-driven healthcare delivery

Qualifications

  • 2 years of Medical Assistant Experience Preferred
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Certification or registration required if applicable in California
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Experience with senior populations preferred
  • Valid Driver's License and a reliable vehicle
  • Comfortable traveling between multiple clinic locations

Schedule

  • 2 days per week
  • Weekdays only (Monday–Friday)
  • No nights
  • No weekends
