Job Description

The SEA / Social Media Manager contributes to the delivery, performance and quality of Paid Search and Paid Social campaigns across a portfolio of client accounts, at a level of autonomy and accountability matching the Manager grade. Working within the SEA / Social division, they uphold Jellyfish standards, drive results and profitability, and grow their expertise and impact over time.

Your primary responsibilities will include

1. Delivery & Operational Excellence

  • Independently deliver BAU across the campaign lifecycle: ideation, campaign builds across both levers, optimisation, and daily/monthly/quarterly budget pacing.
  • Produce client-facing reporting, from data pulls to written performance insights.
  • Diagnose and reverse negative performance trends autonomously, escalating more complex situations to Senior Managers.
  • Maintain a constant focus on both media performance and account profitability.

1. Expertise & Skills Development

  • Apply a fully functional command of building, pacing, optimisation and reporting with minimal support.
  • Master the setup and use cases of all Paid Search and Paid Social formats (search and social ad formats (PMax, Demand Gen, feed, video, etc.) and relevant 3rd-party tools.
  • Begin to develop a specific area of subject-matter expertise within Paid Search and Paid Social.
  • Accurately identify personal strengths and development areas, and pursue self-development opportunities.

1. Collaboration & Client Engagement

  • Lead conversations on the accounts you own, with support from Senior Managers and SMEs.
  • Interact professionally with clients, platform representatives and internal stakeholders, with minimal supervision.
  • Advise and support junior team members on BAU tasks, processes and policies.
  • Share knowledge and key results across the wider Paid Search and Paid Social team.

1. Strategic Contribution & Innovation

  • Understand the team's strategy, how it affects your scope and its impact on the wider business.
  • Connect individual situations into trends and work with Senior Managers to implement scalable solutions.
  • Autonomously manage, prioritise and plan your workload to hit deadlines on projects of growing complexity.
  • Understand SLAs, task distribution and steering-group KPIs, and how you can support them.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent) with hands-on experience (2–6 years) in Paid Search and Paid Social campaign management, ideally within an agency or complex media environment.
  • Professional proficiency in English is required; French is a strong asset for this Paris-based role.
  • Full autonomy on Paid Search and Paid Social BAU delivery with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to translate performance data into client-facing insights.
  • Rigorous budget pacing and reporting aligned to client objectives and profitability.
  • Ability to support and upskill junior team members.
  • Professional, client-ready communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Command of Paid Search and Paid Social platforms: Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, SA360, Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn.
  • Knowledge of Paid Search and Paid Social formats: search and social ad formats (PMax, Demand Gen, feed, video, etc.).
  • Proficiency in budget pacing, optimisation and performance analysis.
  • Understanding of measurement, attribution and reporting frameworks.
  • Familiarity with relevant 3rd-party and operational tools (Google Workspace, Slack).

Note: We emphasise skills, expertise and behavioural attributes over years of experience and traditional degrees. If you want to join our collaborative team, we invite you to apply today with your resume in English.
