In this role, you will be expected to consistently perform your work safely, ethically, and in accordance with organizational policies, professional standards, and applicable laws and regulations. Your commitment to safety, integrity, and compassionate care will be essential to supporting donors, their families, healthcare partners, and our mission.

  • Develop productive relationships with operating room staff and provide donation-related education through in-services, presentations, and meetings.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a Surgical Technologist Program required; Certified Surgical Technologist credential preferred.
  • Two or more years of operating room experience with demonstrated knowledge of sterile technique.
  • Experience in organ or tissue recovery is strongly desired.
  • Organ perfusion and previous on-call experience preferred.

  • Strong computer and data-entry skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet-based systems.
  • Professionalism, discretion, and a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Certified Transplant Preservationist credential required within 24 months of hire.
