Salary Range: $68,000–$88,000 annually
About the Opportunity
AnthroMed Education is partnering with a supportive educational organization in Stafford County, Virginia to welcome a full-time Occupational Therapist for an immediate opening through May 27. Stafford County has consistently signaled a need for in-person OTs, making this an opportunity to provide meaningful occupational therapy services directly within a school setting.
School placement and grade level will be confirmed during the interview process based on the district’s current needs and the OT’s experience and interests.
What You’ll Do
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in a school-based setting
- Support students in developing the skills needed to participate successfully in the educational environment
- Conduct evaluations and contribute to student goals and intervention planning
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and other related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team collaboration
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Provide recommendations and strategies to support student access and participation in the classroom
Caseload Details
- School placement and grade level will be confirmed at the time of interview
- Stafford County has consistently communicated a need for in-person OTs
- Caseload details and student needs will be discussed during the interview process
- Onsite position
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Virginia Occupational Therapy License
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively within a school-based team
- Commitment to supporting student success and participation in the educational environment
