Its primary objective is to ensure access to a comprehensive range of treatment and support services, clinical treatment, rehabilitation, disability support, as well as early intervention, and mental health prevention and promotion.

MHAODS is designed and delivered with the consumer, carers, family, and local communities at the centre of everything we do.

MHAODS currently has over 500 staff, with multiple models of care delivered by multidisciplinary clinical teams spanning across the Cairns and Rural region.

Our values were developed by our staff, patients and community. They guide our work and actions every day. Our staff are part of the community we serve. We believe that we can improve health outcomes by involving our community in the planning and evaluation of their local health services.
