Position: Night Auditor
Schedule: Overnight Shift | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Are you a night owl who enjoys working independently, has an eye for detail, and takes pride in providing exceptional guest service? SpringHill Suites Memphis Downtown is looking for a dependable, friendly, and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team!
As the face of our hotel during the overnight hours, you'll play an important role in ensuring our guests enjoy a comfortable, welcoming, and seamless stay. From assisting late-night arrivals to balancing daily financial transactions, you'll help keep our hotel running smoothly while preparing the team for a successful day ahead.
What You'll Do
- Welcome and check in late-night arrivals, assist with departures, and provide friendly, professional guest service.
- Perform nightly audit procedures, reconcile daily transactions, balance accounts, and prepare financial reports.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest questions, requests, and concerns.
- Monitor hotel activity and follow safety and security procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and employees.
- Answer incoming calls, manage reservations, and assist guests with hotel information and local recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area.
- Communicate important guest information, incidents, and operational updates to the morning team.
- Handle unexpected situations calmly and professionally, using good judgment and problem-solving skills.
What We're Looking For
- A reliable, self-motivated individual who is comfortable working independently during overnight hours.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills, particularly when handling financial transactions and reports.
- A friendly, professional attitude with a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and remain calm under pressure.
- Previous hotel front desk or night audit experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Familiarity with Marriott systems is a plus.
- Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn hotel operating systems.
- Dependability, punctuality, and the ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.

11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Must be available to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. This position may require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 30 pounds occasionally.
