Key Points
- Lead with Impact: Guide a talented Accounting team of 2 colleagues, overseeing all aspects of Accounting, Controlling, Budgeting, and Reporting.
- Shape Our Future: Prepare accurate financial statements in line with local GAAP and IFRS standards, ensuring our financial integrity.
- Strategic Planning: Develop innovative financial plans that align with our strategic goals and market opportunities.
- Insightful Reporting: Create and present compelling monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting packages, communicating key results and insights to leadership.
- Close with Confidence: Execute efficient month-end closing processes, maintaining the highest integrity of financial data.
- Share Expertise: Become a super user and train and mentor team members on financial systems and reporting tools,
- Collaborate for Success: Work closely with management to challenge target setting and evaluation process, drive compliance, and enhance overall business performance
What you bring
- A degree in Finance or Accounting with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven expertise in controlling, reporting, finance, and cost accounting in Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina
- A Qualified Accountant Certificate valid for Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Strong knowledge of local GAAP/IFRS
- Proficiency in SAP is strong advantage
- Experience with international accounting principles IFRS/IAS
- Excellent analytical skills and fluency in English and Bosnian
- A proactive, engaging leadership style with outstanding communication abilities
