About the Role

At ARX Robotics, you will help keep our autonomous ground systems reliable, effective, and ready for demanding real-world environments. Working across software, hardware, and user support, you will solve complex technical issues and turn operational feedback into meaningful product improvements.

You will take ownership of work from analysis through resolution, contribute to technical decisions, and help shape systems that support our mission to strengthen European security. Your work will have a visible impact both in the product and in the field.

What You'll Build

  • Keep deployed systems reliable through firmware flashing, configuration, and software-related service work.
  • Investigate and resolve complex service issues onsite and remotely.
  • Provide technical support and own user issues through successful resolution.
  • Deliver practical technical training that helps users operate our systems confidently.
  • Develop new functionality and contribute bug fixes and software optimizations.
  • Improve existing services, workflows, and technical solutions.
  • Create and maintain clear technical and user documentation.
  • Work with Hardware, Customer Operations, and engineering teams to turn field feedback into product improvements.
  • Travel to user locations across Ukraine to support system setup, maintenance, and issue resolution when needed.

What You Bring

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in software development, embedded systems, technical support, or systems integration.
  • Strong Linux skills, including the command line, processes, services, logs, networking, and common troubleshooting approaches.
  • Practical Bash experience for scripting, automation, and diagnostics.
  • Practical experience writing, debugging, and maintaining C++ code, including contributing to existing codebases.
  • A solid understanding of hardware systems and hardware-software interactions and communication protocols used for data exchange between devices.
  • Independent ownership of tasks from initial analysis through completion, with a systematic approach to complex production and service issues.
  • Initiative and sound technical judgement, including the confidence to propose improvements to services and technical solutions.
  • Intermediate English level or above, with the ability to communicate clearly in a professional setting.
  • Clear, structured communication and the ability to collaborate effectively with users and cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

  • A valid driving licence and experience driving a manual vehicle.
  • Experience in miltech, defense, robotics, or another hardware-focused technology environment.
  • Knowledge of ROS2, radio systems, or wireless communication technologies.

Please note: You do not need to meet every single requirement to apply. We welcome motivated candidates who are eager to grow into the role and develop their expertise further.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • Opportunity to work with a highly innovative, international, and dynamic team
  • Room for professional growth and development
  • Participation in the company's success, with access to regular events, knowledge exchange and meetups
