About the role

At Statista, we’re all about facts and data, for we are the world's leading business data platform. By providing reliable and easy-to-use data as well as various data analytics products and services, we empower people worldwide to make fact-based decisions.

Founded in Hamburg in 2007, we have quickly grown into a global company with offices in major cities such as London, New York, Berlin and Tokyo. And we still have a lot of plans. Our constant growth does not only prove our success, but also keeps creating new development and career opportunities for our employees.

We value and celebrate our diverse culture. You are welcome here for who you are, no matter where you come from, what you look like, or whether you prefer bar graphs to pie charts. Your story matters – keep writing it as part of our team.

Are you ready to join us?

Your tasks

  • Build and execute a territory plan that prioritises high-value target accounts.
  • Generate your own pipeline through consistent, tailored outbound activity, while following up promptly on inbound interest.
  • Lead structured discovery conversations to understand customer needs, qualify opportunities and identify where Statista can deliver value.
  • Develop proposals that connect our solutions to customer priorities and recognise opportunities for larger deals.
  • Own your new-business ARR target, maintain healthy pipeline coverage and forecast accurately.
  • Negotiate and close new business, then hand over won accounts with clear context on customer goals and agreed next steps.
  • Continue developing the account-planning and deal-management skills needed for more complex enterprise sales.

Your profile

  • 2–5 years of B2B sales experience, including responsibility for closing new business.
  • A track record of achieving sales targets and creating pipeline through your own outreach.
  • Strong territory-planning, discovery and qualification skills, including the judgement to step away from poor-fit opportunities.
  • Commercial curiosity and the ability to uncover relevant metrics and explain business value.
  • Experience preparing proposals, negotiating and closing deals.
  • Fluent English and professional working proficiency in French, Italian or Spanish. Additional southern european languages are an advantage.
