About the role

About So Shall We

We partner with mid‑market owners and executives in the US to drive bottom‑line growth with mutual upside. A rare combination of consulting, full-stack execution and aligned incentives to eliminate what is wrong with the agency model.

We are what remains. We make growth feel easy.

Because your growth is our business.

Your Mission

As a MarTech Engineer, you'll own the server-side tracking and attribution architecture that tells our clients which marketing dollars actually drive revenue. You'll be fully autonomous: you take ambiguous problems, define the approach and ship it, with the backing of the MarTech Lead and our performance, CRM and account teams. This role is hands-on first, with the technical judgment to set the patterns the rest of the team builds on. It requires deep conversion API, data and TypeScript skills to build reliable, scalable attribution across Meta, Google Ads, Bing and the CRMs our US clients run on.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and build server-side attribution services: event capture, identity stitching and dispatch to Meta, Google Ads, Bing Ads and other platforms.
  • Own the reliability of conversion pipelines: deduplication, idempotency, retries, monitoring and alerts that catch silent failures.
  • Build data models and SQL/HogQL reporting that reconcile with ad platforms and define the source of truth for each metric.
  • Design integrations across GHL, HubSpot, Stripe, Zoho, Salesforce and Hyros.
  • Lead root-cause investigations on complex attribution gaps across platforms, CRMs and the database.
  • Define and document the team's patterns, data models and QA standards, and review SSr work that touches production.
  • Write build-vs-buy recommendations and lead technical calls with US stakeholders and vendors.
  • Use Claude Code and the Claude Agent SDK to build team tooling and work faster, safely.

Who You Are

  • Results-Driven Operator: You care whether the conversion data is right, not just whether the pixel fires.
  • Systems-Level Thinker: You see the full path from browser to CRM to ad platform, and where it breaks silently.
  • Quality-First Builder: You write tests first, keep systems simple and ship on Cloudflare Workers, Vercel, Render and Supabase with TypeScript.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Maker: When the cause is unclear, you measure before you fix twice.
  • Clear Communicator: Fluent spoken and written English; your design docs are easy to decide on.
  • Mentorship-Minded Leader: You make Jr and SSr engineers better through reviews and pairing, without managing them.
