About the role

LM Studio is used by millions of people around the world to run AI on their own computers, and now with Bionic - also in the cloud. Our values prioritize putting the human in the center, and creating tools that we want to use ourselves, and recommend to our friends and family.

As a team, we work with high technical intensity and personal responsibility. We are looking for curious, self-motivated, creative, and technically excellent teammates to join us and build the future of human-AI interactions in software.

The Role

As LM Studio’s Marketing Lead, you’ll own how we communicate what LM Studio can do and why it matters.

You’ll stay close to our product roadmap to identify opportunities to educate people about the product and turn new capabilities into clear, timely stories. Your work will focus primarily on earned media.

Qualifications

  • High agency, with the ability to anticipate opportunities and take projects from idea to execution
  • Technically curious and comfortable working closely with engineers, product teams, and sophisticated users
  • Strong writer and storyteller who can make technical ideas clear, accurate, and compelling
  • Experience marketing AI infrastructure, software tools, or technical products
  • Proven track record of being a good poster

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with earned media, developer relations, community building, or product launches
  • Existing relationships with AI labs, developers, creators, technical media, or ecosystem partners

Responsibilities

  • Craft LM Studio’s positioning, voice, and core narratives, and close the gap between what the product can do and what people know about it
  • Work with engineering and product to translate new capabilities into stories and develop educational materials that resonate with technical and broader audiences
  • Write and publish product announcements, blog posts, technical explainers, social posts, and launch materials
  • Create product demos and videos that clearly show what LM Studio can do
  • Own the editorial calendar and distribution across the LM Studio blog, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Discord, YouTube, and other relevant channels
  • Create high-impact collaborations with AI labs, technology companies, creators, and community partners that expand awareness and product adoption

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and equity grants
  • Great medical, vision, dental healthcare plans
  • Catered team lunch / expensed dinners in the office
  • Flexible PTO
  • Flexible WFH
  • Sun-drenched office in SoHo in NYC
