  • Solve complex and escalated aspects of a project as needed.
  • Review design documentation and lead a team that performs coding, debugging, testing, troubleshooting, and threat modeling throughout the development process.
  • Handle the resolution of sensitive issues.
  • Stay current on industry trends. Implement and monitor new technologies, industry trends and best practices.
  • Maintain long-term relationships with vendors and other third-party resources to ensure high quality services are delivered consistently.
  • Provide the right amount of information – descriptions are concise, timelines have estimates, ownership is clear, call out risks and blockers with a path forward, etc.
  • Evaluate runbooks and system maintenance documentation to make sure they are effective and usable by frontline support.
  • Hold retrospectives and post-mortems to help SWEs grow.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to hold technical discussions and solve immediate problems.
  • Provide input to leadership team on development priorities and resource allocation.
