About the role

Sony Music Korea’s International Repertoire department is looking for a strategic and highly connected leader to help drive the success of our global artists in Korea.

As Frontline Business & Media PR Manager, you will lead the frontline repertoire business while serving as the primary media and PR lead across Frontline, J-Pop, and Catalog. Working closely with global labels, artist management, media partners, and cultural stakeholders, you will help shape how Sony Music’s international repertoire is positioned, amplified, and experienced in one of the world’s most influential music markets.

Success in this role means delivering high-impact campaigns, building strong industry influence, creating meaningful media opportunities, and increasing the visibility and cultural relevance of Sony Music artists in Korea.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media, editors, producers, broadcasters, cultural partners, and industry stakeholders
  • Develop and activate media opportunities, artist moments, collaborations, interviews, and market-facing initiatives across repertoire
  • Align closely with global labels, artist management, and regional Sony Music teams to localize priorities and maximize market impact
  • Manage and develop Frontline Associate Managers and contribute to the growth of future repertoire owners
  • Partner with DSP, Business Development, agencies, and cross-functional teams to integrate earned media into broader commercial and marketing plans
  • Monitor performance and identify new opportunities to strengthen visibility, awareness, and market engagement

  • Experience managing large-scale artist campaigns and working with global and regional stakeholders
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of how media influence translates into audience growth and business outcomes
  • Experience balancing multiple stakeholders, priorities, and campaigns simultaneously
  • Excellent written and spoken Korean and English

Behavioral Capabilities:

  • Relationship Building: Creates and sustains trusted relationships that generate long-term value for artists and the business
  • Strategic Communication: Communicates effectively across media, management, labels, and internal stakeholders
  • Influence: Uses credibility and industry knowledge to unlock opportunities and gain alignment
