This is a hands-on, working supervisor role that combines leadership and technical expertise to ensure the reliable operation, maintenance, and repair of several residence halls, large dining centers, and retail venues.

In this role, you will lead, coach, and develop maintenance staff while actively participating in facility maintenance, equipment repairs, and specialized maintenance projects. You will help coordinate daily operations, plan preventative maintenance, and support renovation and construction projects while promoting a safe, well-maintained environment and exceptional customer service.

Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule that supports work-life balance: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Facilities Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote safety and compliance: Monitor facilities and equipment for compliance with applicable codes and requirements.
  • Coordinate external services: Schedule and coordinate work with specialty trades, contractors, and vendors.
  • Support preventative maintenance: Develop maintenance schedules and monitor the ongoing condition and performance of facilities and equipment.

If you enjoy leading a team, solving maintenance challenges, and working alongside staff to keep facilities and equipment operating at their best, we encourage you to apply!
