About the role

EXCITING OPPORTUNITY WITH A NEW URGENT CARE HOSPITAL! $3,000 SIGN-ON BONUS with an active Washington LVT License!

PawDoc Urgent Care bridges the gap between general practice and emergency/overnight care, offering non-life-threatening urgent care for pets in need. We will provide same-day appointments for time-sensitive concerns like health certificates and vaccines or address unexpected medical issues. We provide exceptional service for appointments, drop-offs, and walk-ins. We're looking for a licensed technician who shares our core values of Respect, Wow Service, Learning, Fun, and Doing the Right Thing. Opportunities to grow into a Technician Supervisor or Hospital Administrator!

We understand the challenges of veterinary medicine. That's why we work to combat compassion fatigue and burnout, focusing on collaboration, creativity, and wellness to support your career and personal goals. No early mornings, late nights, or overnight shifts—because your personal well-being is just as important as the care you provide.

Our compensation package includes starting base pay between $32-$36 per hour. We offer a great benefits package including, but not limited to: health insurance (vision, medical, dental, health savings/flexible spending), life and disability insurance, 401K with company contribution, PTO, generous CE allowance with additional PTO allotted, reimbursement for membership dues and license fees, and more.

Lakefield Veterinary Group is a family-owned organization dedicated to supporting local hospitals while allowing them to maintain their unique culture. Our commitment extends beyond our hospitals. Through our partnership with World Vets, we make a difference worldwide by providing care to pets in underserved areas. Each year, our team members volunteer abroad to support programs that strengthen the bond between pets and people.

In 2021, Lakefield helped open the first and only veterinary clinic in the Galápagos Islands. Watch our story here: https://youtu.be/SWc9DQs4inY. Join us in making a difference both locally and globally. Whether you're an outdoor enthusiast or a city explorer, Port Orchard offers an unbeatable quality of life. With the Olympic Mountains as your backdrop, you'll enjoy dog-friendly waterfront trails for biking, running, and walking. There is lots of easy access to boating, water sports, and outdoor adventures. Port Orchard has a vibrant downtown with shopping, dining, museums, galleries, and a year-round public market. We're only a short ferry ride to Seattle's bustling cultural scene and professional sports venues.
