For our client, a leading international industrial technology company, Qualysoft is currently seeking an experienced Level 2 Deskside Support Engineer to join an exciting onsite support engagement in Austria. This role offers the opportunity to work in a modern enterprise environment, providing hands-on technical support, ensuring smooth IT operations, and delivering a high-quality user experience. The assignment starts with a dedicated full-time engagement and offers the potential for ongoing cooperation through continued support activities.

Duration: Full-time engagement throughout November 2026, followed by ongoing backfill support coverage from December 2026 onwards

Your Responsibilities
As a Level 2 Deskside Support Engineer, you will serve as a key point of contact for end-user support and workplace services, ensuring the efficient operation of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Provide deskside support for PCs, laptops, peripherals, and software-related issues
- Resolve escalated Level 2 incidents and service requests
- Troubleshoot and support Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 services
- Provide VPN and network connectivity support
- Support business-critical applications and end users
- Perform device imaging, configuration, deployment, and replacement activities
- Manage Intune, SCCM, and Windows Autopilot deployments
- Administer Active Directory and Azure Active Directory environments
- Support Exchange Online services
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and identity-related requests
- Assist with local office IT infrastructure support
- Deliver onsite and remote end-user support
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and application-related issues
- Maintain accurate incident documentation and ticket management records
Your Profile
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in IT support within enterprise environments
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Windows 10 / Windows 11
- Microsoft 365
- Active Directory
- Azure Active Directory
- Exchange Online
- Intune, SCCM, and Windows Autopilot
- Experience working with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes
- Practical experience with ticketing systems
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Professional, customer-focused, and service-oriented mindset
- Good communication skills in German and English
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting international enterprise environments
- Knowledge of endpoint management and modern workplace solutions
- Familiarity with network fundamentals and VPN technologies
- Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Relevant Microsoft certifications
